PBS 4th Quarter Assembly

We had our last PBS assembly of the year and recognized our kids for being safe, respectful, and responsible!  Our kids who earned the PBS award all 4 quarters were rewarded with a trip to Dairy Queen for some ice cream!

Mrs. McGraw's Kindergarten class painted like Michelangelo!  They taped paper under their desks and laid under the tables to paint a "masterpiece!"

Run Club 5K!

We had another amazing race this year!  We had 55 students run the race and several volunteers to help!  We want to say a HUGE thank you to Mr. Gordon for organizing the event, the many teachers who ran or volunteered their time, the Crystal City Police Department for running with us and helping block off some streets for safety, several parents for volunteering to block streets and direct students, and everyone at the finish line for cheering the kids on and helping them accomplish their goal of finishing the race!  It was a GREAT event!

 

 Jon Weik finished first overall with a time of 22:44!

 

 

 Annie Waites was our first girl overall with a time of 31:40!

Integrity Students for Character Ed Lunch

Ms. Carey hosted our last character ed lunch of the year on Wednesday.

Kiss the Pig Assembly!

We raised $400 from our Kiss the Pig fundraiser!  Thank you all for participating.  The winning teachers were Mrs. Klamert, Mr. Pastrana, and Mrs. Leitterman!  They dressed in overalls and straw hats and kissed Bullet the pig in front of all the kids.  Afterwards, we put Bullet on the floor and watched him run across the gym floor!
