4th Grade Making Landforms

Our 4th graders were making 3D models of landforms with clay!  Great job!

M.A.P. Assembly

We rewarded our students who received proficient or advanced scores on the MAP test last year with ribbons and medals.  It was great to see so many students wearing them throughout the day!

 



Making Blankets with our Buddies

Mrs. Hercher's and  Mr. Gordon's classes got together to work on fleece blankets for the residents of the West County Care Center.  The fleece was donated by our parents and students and the kids had a great time making them!  When Mrs. Hercher delivered the blankets she said the residents were SO excited and many of them cried happy tears and were very grateful. 

 



Welcome Home!

One of our 1st grade students was surprised by his dad coming home early from being overseas!  He then stayed and answered some questions for the class.  Welcome Home!!!

PBS Assembly

What's the Buzz?  Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible!  We had our 1st quarter PBS assembly to recognize our students with good behavior!

 

Randomly selected students got to choose a teacher to participate in a face painting game!

 

Our PBS students received a pencil for being safe, respectful, and responsible. 

 

Our JH students did an activity for their class to show what friends can do for each other to help protect against bullies and gossip.



Fire Prevention Week

Every year during Fire Prevention Week the Friedmeyer family sets up a wonderful event for us at the football field.  After our fire drill the students get to go down to the football field and hear presentations about each type of emergency vehicle!  This year we got a close up of the helicopter taking off!
